DC5 Brakes on DC2
DC5 Brakes on DC2: (OEM "big" brake upgrade)
i heard this was possible by just swapping the hub and bearing. my question is has anyone ever done it? do i need a bracket for the caliper, or is it much less a perfect fit? of course i would be keeping the 5lug.
all help appreciated.

still looking for info.
my biggest thing is if the dc5 calipers use the original dc2 mounting holes. or if i'll need a bracket.
just dont want to go through the hastle of paying to have everything pressed out and come to find out it cant work, Lol.

In a box, I have calipers/brackets for my 2000 LS = DC4 and 2004 RSX non-type s calipers/brackets. They ( pretty much) match one another, except for pad shape.
I had a different goal when I upgraded my brakes. I wanted larger (accord v6) calipers and 11" rotors. Those (v6) calipers have bolt holes that are about 3/4" farther apart than the original calipers on my LS, so I could not use either my original LS brackets, nor my RSX brackets. When my daughter gets home, I will get her to post the photos.
The front brackets from my 2000 Integra LS look like their bolt holes DO line up with the bolt holes on the 2004 RSX non-Type S front brackets. The numbers that are stamped on the brackets, differ. As does the numbers that are stamped on the calipers.
While I was checking them out, I also checked the size of the brake pads. There is more surface area on the LS brake pad. The LS pad is more oval compared to the RSX non type-s, which is more triangular.
Don't forget that the 4 lug hubs require a 32mm axle and the 5 lug hub takes a 36mm.
