Default 91 hatch issue

I traded my dsm for a 91 hatch a couple weeks ago. And of course, the guy before me was trying to make it fast by hacking **** off of it. After many trips to the parts store and beer, I have it idling perfect, no check engine light, nothing. I had to wire in the map sensor as he cut that off, re-run the vacuum lines to the intake and the ones actually on the intake. All kinds of stuff. Here's my issue, and its strange to me. Once it gets to operating temperature, it wants to bog down at low rpm's. I have to rev past the lower rpm to start out, or else it will die or start off VERY slowly. And when driving, I have to run it up higher before shifting to avoid the bogging. I'm wanting this to be my daily driver as my other vehicle is a 4wd f150 lol. I haven't replaced the plug wires, but did put new plugs in a couple days ago. The motor was rebuilt before the guy before me got ahold of it. 150 psi on all 4 cylinders, so I know the motor is in good shape. I just don't understand why it only runs weird when it gets to temp. Any ideas? Its the motor that runs off one fuel injector by the way, whichever model that is.

Anyone? Its something stupid that I'm overlooking. I just don't get why it runs odd ONLY at low rpms when its warm.

it could possible be your ecu. if he hacked alot of stuff like you said he probable try chipping the ecu. and he could have used a crappy chip burner or something. trying getting a stock ecu and put it in and see how it runs. what motor is in it by the way? cause if its a obd2 motor with a obd1 ecu and its not converted right that could be it also.

its the stock d15b2. i'm gonna adjust the ignition timing tomorrow and see what happens. if that doesn't clear it up, i'm taking it to the honda guru in huntsville. its had a full tune up aside from anything with the distributor. so we'll see what happens. anyone else have a suggestion?
