Default tire pressure for s-03

hi guys,
the question might have been answered before, but if you don't mind answering it here again
i'm auto-xing this weekend, and need to know the right tire pressure for my car. the tire is bridgestone s-03, 205-50-15, and the stock size is actually 195-55-15. Last time I ran, I just left it at 35 in front, and 33 back (or the other way around, can't remember), but basically i left it at street pressure. I did pretty well for a first timer, but wondering if changing tire pressure would improve my time ?

thanks alot

You might want to try putting some shoe polish on your tires to check how much they are rolling over (especially the fronts). I have the same size S03s on my GS-R, and I just autoxed on them for the first time. Just as a guess I ran 38 front, 34 rear (cold). When hot they were about 40/36. They felt good and were wearing pretty evenly from the looks of it, although I never checked it with polish.

My brother has a 99GSR and at the autocross we ran yesterday he his S03s at 40fr/42r cold. First thing he said we he finished was that he found his pressures finally. He has a Type R rear sway bar, slightly stiffer springs and Bilstein HDs.
