Just a reminder that the hidden forums are still there and working.

There seem to be a couple of racers who post in other forums who are not posting in the official, hidden forums.

You can't just pop in and register. You have to be recognised by the manager of the site (don't worry, it's not me) and the race directors.

No holds barred discussions.

It is not an alternative. It is a companion site set up specifically for Honda Challenge racers.

Honda Challenge and Honda-Tech are historically and undeniably connected.

Racers should talk about things there that they do not necessarily want the public to know about. Public items can be discussed here or anywhere else they want.

So if you're banned from Honda-tech, are you banned from the honda challenge site as well?

No. Only the Honda Challenge directors can ban you from the Honda Challenge site.

It is a direct alternative to this section depending on how you look at things. It also functions on an 'othered' forum type. I'm sorry, but I fundamentally disagree with this; if you are going to censor something at least be consistent about it.

Sorry about dragging this off topic.

You only say that because you can't read the other forum.
If you could read it, you'd understand that it's not a alternative, but rather a place for issues to be discussed that should remain discrete!
Things like "what motor should I use" and "What brake pads work best" don't get posted there!
Issues like "Hey John Doe, that was a pretty messed up pass on saturday during the race you pulled because it was quite unsafe". Those are the types of things the forum was meant for and that is certainly not something that should be put up on this site!

It good EDO, I’m just prepping the car for the 3 hour and button willow; I’m hoping to pick up a second driver shortly. i just need to put lights on the car and check everything over I’m hoping to have it done in three weeks. Then all I have to do is clean the car... I know everyone gave me a bad time about having a clean car last weekend. But I don’t care.

And don’t put the stuff away it the only time I can play

Same thing happens in the paddocks on the East Coast.

That situation was entirely misunderstood by all parties concerned.

I have watched discussions at another forum, I've watched the background at NASA, I've watched Mods Corner, and I've come to the conclusion that everybody just misunderstood what was going on.

People had different agendas. It was not that the agendas were in conflict, or in any way dishonest, it was that nobody understood the other attendees' motives and intentions.

NO IT IS NOT an alternative to this forum. the hondachallenge forum provides a place for my thoughts about billybobjohnny wanna be racer to be directed to my peers not so the world can see why i was upset about the last race. provides excellent source to talk about rules by races for racers without all the garbage from people who have no clue as to what really happens when you race.
