Another Dirty Motor Makeover- JRSC GSR
I just traded a greddy turbo'd b16 for a JRSC GSR..
But the motor was a bit dirty so I spent some time getting it ready to go in my car. Still not finished I still need to shave and paint my valve cover.
Going into my SI
Not going into the car until I get a few new parts for the JRSC.. I ordered new pulleys and belts, and am working out a deal for an LHT intercooler. This is my first SC setup I have always been a turbo guy but I thought it would be fun to drive on the street.

deff got that motor cleaner looking, how much boost are you planing to run with the supercharger, and what other mods are done to that motor or is it stock with a s/c?
Bone Stock, I havent had a bone stock motor in a longtime. It was rebuilt about 20k miles ago or so I am told. I did a compression test 215 across the board so compression looks good. The only thing that is not stock on the motor is the JRSC a set of RDX injectors a DC sport Header and an exedy clutch.
out of curiousity how come on the first two pictures it looks like the vin plate on the motor was removed.. but the last picture u can clearly see it.. unless it was dirty.. but it looks removed...
