Ive searched but havent seen much about them...I just ordered some...wondering what kind of gains people have seen

you should talk to a good head shop first

I've heard a lot of the recommend against OS valves

I believe they are not recommended for high compression builds, as you could potentially have piston to valve clearance issues, depending on the other components you choose to use.

Cam selection will play a huge part in this. For example, skunk2 does not recommend running OS valves on their Pro series cams. Checking valve to valve clearance is not fun by the way.

I guess we will see what it makes with stock cams then...if its adequate ill just play it safe and leave the stock valvetrain....Ill be happy with anything over 200FWHP

If you don't get what you're looking for, I'd go for a set of pro1 or pro2s before dropping money on taking the head back off and doing valves and all the associated work. You can do the cams with the head on.
