JDM fullmark rear bumber 2ndgen CRV
posting for a friend. he said he went down to honda and wanted to see if he could get this rear bumber imported because he did the rear spare tire delete, honda said they cant import it because of DOT requirements, does anyone know of a way around this

CRV = light duty truck (legally at least)
Light duty trucks are not required to have a rear bumper. The metal rear "bumper" commonly seen on many american trucks, is not legally a bumper (doesn't absorb impact at 5mph without damage).
Find a company that specializes in importing parts and engines from Japan, have them get it for you.
