Look in the FAQ and SEARCH. I did a rear disc swap and that's what I did. It's not rocket science.

I didnt do it at first. You will be fine without the booster/mc. You just won't have the best brake pedal feel. If you already have the parts and have to drain the fluid for the swap just go ahead and put them in. It will feel alot better.

you dont need anything but the rear trailing arms to complete the swap. but if everything is laying around do everything at once. because youll have to bleed the brakes

I don't see Porsche's with drums either.

To the OP, the MC & BB is not "needed" when you do a rear disc swap. It is, however, heavily recommended when you upgrade to bigger front brakes.

If you look close you'll see them attached to the disk, unless we are talking vintage racers

Ok yea cuz ever since I swapped my front brakes my brake pedal feels like ****. I still haven't done rear but I guess I should swap MC and BB too then. Will pedal feel stiffer? and is it hard to swap BB? Do I have to take DASH apart? I need to eventually take dash apart because I am installing A/C crap that goes behind dash (have those parts too that I took off DA) but if i need to take of dash for BB then might as well do it all at once. Oh and after replacement of master cylinder and BB do I have to bench bleed master cylinder? Or do I just bleed at all four wheels?

The pedal will feel stiffer when you add the bigger MC & BB, being that the brakes are bled correctly.

Most would call that a parking brake, but how many people here have even worked on a Porsche.

I have seen that on some Fords too, like the Ford F-150.
