Norcal touge march 22: Touge up in ice house
NORCAL HONDA-TECH:
Anyone wanna join us on March 22nd on Sunday.

A. GAS UP AT CHEVRON OR WAIT FOR EVERY ONE COMING FOR DESTINATION B.
B.SUPPOSE TO BE THE FIRST MEET UP SPOT AT STARBUCKS ON HOWE AND ARDEN
C. EXIT EL DORADO HILL TOWARD SALMON FALL
D. STOP AT A SMALL GAS STATION SPOT FOR BREAK
E. TURN ONTO 193/GEORGE TOWN RD.
F. WE'RE GAS UP AT SHELL GAS STATION BEFORE HEADING TOWARD WENTWORTH
G. WE'RE TAKE BREAK AT THE LAKE
H. TURN RIGHT ON TO ICE HOUSE
I. TURN RIGHT ON HWY 50 WEST
J. STOP HERE FOR KFC FOR LUNCH OR
K. STOP HERE FOR (IN AND OUT BURGER)
TOTAL MILES: 156 IN 4hrs and 40 minutes.
LEAVING ICE HOUSE^^
INSIDE ICE HOUSE ROAD^^
BREAK AT THE LAKE^^

no, the road is wide open for campers to travel. Just be sure u got enought gas to go thru them mountains.

Nice route.
My dad works for SMUD and frequents this road.
I bet he could out run half of us on this road in his work truck! i swear he knows that road like the back of his hand.

I would like to join you guys and meet knew folks, but my car started hesitating and bogging if I can figure the problem before the 22nd I will definitely meet with you guys for this touge drive.
Where is the chevron that you are talking about? Not the one by the corner of Power Inn and Folsom right.

bogging, sound like faulty map sensor. try to substitute another map sensor.

I believe I figured out the problem, valve cover seals for spark plug went bad and plugs from cylinder 1, 2, and 3 was almost submerged in oil. If nothing unexpected pops up and if the weather permits it I'll be there at the meeting spot.
