i think part numbers can be the same for diffrent items example when you buy spark plugs thers difrences in the but example for the b16 motor theres 2 diff cars
94-95 del sol
99-00 civic si and the part numbers are the same but i believe that the spark plugs can/are diffrent ??
what im trying to say is (and im not 100% sure on this) but i think part numbers are specifically for what cars they fit?

Ok well long time searching and i have finally found out the big secret to the oil pumps. The only thing thats different in them is indeed just a washer.
BUT that washer is the thing that changes oil pressure because takin tht out allows the hexbolt plug to sit lower and compress the relief spring a little more.this causes higher oil pressure before the plunger is lifted off the seat to bypass the oil
so diffrences are infact oil pressure because of that little washer :thumb:
