Default All sensors triggered on viper 5900

Hey. I have a Viper 5900 stealthly installed on my EG Si hatch. The arming works great and doesn't say any sensors are open [trunk or door open]. All my sensors work IE opening doors, hood, trunk all trigger the alarm. Now the strange problem is, EVERYTIME I unlock my car is says that every sensor was triggered! I hit unlock and it chirps several times. I look at the remote and the doors, trunk, hood, and knock sensors all flash as if they went off. Any idea what this could be?

Try this turn on car and just arm the alarm will the car is running.
cause I belive your alarm is not sensing the igntion.
If you just tripped all the trigger like door, hood, trunck, shock sensor, ect...
if you turn your key on and off it should clear all triggers.
if the alarm does not sense the igntion then you alarm will not reset.

Ok. So I went in my car, started it, armed it [blew up my ears...damn piezo siren], disarmed the alarm, turned the car off. Got out, armed it, disarmed it. And had the same problem. Ignition wire is hooked up. It obviously set off the alarm when I turned it on. Just is still detecting all sensors going off

ok if you can arm the alarm will the car is running then your problem is the alarm is not sensing the igntion wire.

In fact the ribbion cable between the satellite relay pack and the brain is probley loose at one of the end.

If it is i suggest use a zip tie and tie the cable down at both end.

I'm not using remote start so I don't need the satellite relay. =P

Follow these step by step.

remote start or not.

1) Go start your car with the key.
2) press the arm button on the remote.
3) if your arm alarms will the car is running then go to step 6
4) if you arm does not arm then go to next step.
5) Find the alarm brain unplug all all the plug wait about 10sec plug everyting back in again.
and then try step 1 again.
6) find the alarm brain check ribbon cable that goes to the satellite relay to the brain.
or whats left of the ribbon cable. the reason for this cable is where the igntion goes into the alarm. if this ribbon is missing or not pluged in then you will never be able to reset your alarm to clear and past trigger.

You know I did something really dumb. I wired up the orange [ground when armed] wire to my ignition wire. That made sense after you mentioned my ignition wire. That also made sense with the satellite relay harness. Here's the fixer question. What wire do I wire up to my ignition wire?

So you did not us the satellite relay pack.
and when you said the ground when armed wire i'm thinking it's from the primary harness.
so if you did not use the ribbon cable that goes into between the alarm and satellite,
u need to find it.

if you got the ribbon cable and not using the satellite relapy pack then cut the ribbon cable in half.

in the ribbon cable there is only one yellow wire. that is the igntion sense wire.
plug the ribbon cable into the alarm brain and hook up the yellow wire to igntion and then problem solved.

also since u hooked up the orange wire(ground when armed) too ur igntion. that feature will no longer work
reason the orange wire is only 200ma (-) output it's fried.

Goodie on knowing I fried something I didn't use too much in the first place. Haha. Thanks for your help man! I'll wire that up correctly tomorrow. Ground when armed is only for running relays to kill things when the alarm is blasting correct?
