I got the rims for free on Craigslist and someone attempted a half *** black paint job...so I re-did it.

Pics arent great cuz they are from my phone, but better ones will come sooner. Me and my bro worked on'em....rattle can, but then didn't chip, so I'm happy.

Yeah I didn't even wash my dayum car, but I agree can't beat free, especially if you guys saw what I had B4.

I had plenty of coats of gold + 2 clears...pics REALLY do it no justice

 

looks good, form my expereince if you dont prime them they eventually chip. Mine did 6 months after painting. The I strpped it down primed it and repainted. No more issues.

Like 4-5 Coats of Gold
2 clears.....I was gonna do a DIY write up, but my old computer died with all my previous pics....Its my first rim painting so I was real happy wit the results....Im just scared of curb rash....I fall victim about once a year...but I can always retouch

 

not feelin it. looks like gold rustoleum which reminds me of plastic gold. But cant beat the price

i never really liked gold meshs i would do oem color or polished instead

Yeah I did cut the side markers too big LOL, but good news is Im gonna paint it sumtime in future and with that obviously comes body work.

And about the "new shoes" the ones in front are 1 day old and the rear ones are a couple months. It just looks like $h!t B cuz I havnt washed'em yet.

I was gonna paint em black, but everyone and their grandma has black rims now. And I wanted a color to bring out the green color of my EK and I think gold does a good job of it...like I said I'll post cleaner pics soon.
