oic....well , thats just my opinion...but i'm sure the Rsx will better fit your needs...there is quite a bit of attention that needs to be paid the ITR...like not getting it stolen....insurance costs....etc....sorry for being judgemental i give myself a for that

Its ok.... I traded to get a more comfy car, cheaper car pmt, cheaper insurance, etc... And I didnt think I would like the RSX as much as I do.... Of course its not the Type R (I still you #1494), but it has torque, a sunroof, leather, etc, etc, etc... Much better as a daily driver....

Well I was so affraid to drive the car and leave it anywhere.. it wasnt worth the $700 a month (payment and insurance) for it to just sit around and not be used to its full potential...

So far, I am really enjoying the RSX, to tell you the truth I didnt think I would. Its a very nice car with lots of nice little perks.... but need to be lowered BADLY!!!

Manual of course

What do you guys recommend for lowering the RSX? Also is it possible to debadge it? I wasnt sure if it had the same holes as in my DC4......

wait a sec,..DC4,..that would be an LS,..well,..either way good luck w/ the RSX,..hope ya dig it!
AS far as badges goes,..yep you can take off all the badges except the cuz it will leave 2 holes,..but the Acura & the RSX badge comes right off w/ nothing left behind

think she means DC2... what in the hell is a DC4?!?! C'mon guys! You should know better!

congrats on the car, though. it really is a nice car... and the engines respond VERY WELL to mods. either cuz Honda added extremely restrictive parts to it or cuz they lied about the hp figures to keep it a good distance away from the higher models. point is, you can still make it decently quick.

DC4= LS

Lowering would be simple w/ probably like Progress...or maybe get some coilovers?Depends on what you wanna do--either
A:Fill the damn Party in the fender well(RSX is big,but hey Celica is way bigger)
B:just give it an edge so it dosen't look so stock and slight better handling
C:Adjustabity
D:Slammin it--hahahah

I'm sure you know what you want if you had an ITR

I am still breaking in the car.. so I will know how I like it compared to my R in another 500 or so miles... I kinda wish I got the Type s.. but then again, I would LOVE to turbo the base model..... <evilgrin>

So I can debadge everything on the back except for the acura symbol.. no holes on the other two rear badges? Anyone have a picture of this done?

You got yourself a great daily driver. I thought I would miss my mod's GSR a lot when I traded it in for the RSX (base model, stick), but actually, I don't really miss it much to be honest. This car's so much more refined; a much better daily driver, and all the girls I run into think it's really appealing. Although, that's probably not a plus for you... or is it?

Honestly though, the potential for this car is incredible. Simple bolt-on's get you in the high 150whp range. The header and exhaust appear to be very restrictive. Preliminary testing for turbo's have been very positive too. Larger displacement engines tend to respond better to f/i. And consider: you'll be paying insurance for a base RSX, but if you turbo it, it'll be a crazy fast sleeper.

Anyway, point is, enjoy your new ride
