bump steer?

Icon2 bump steer?

would there be any adverse effects inverting my tie rods to counteract bump steer is there a particular reliable tie rod i can buy for this purpose .

I've been using T1R's inverted rods for about a year with no complaints. I get virtually zero bump steer now, short of there being a catastrophic sized pothole.

cant you just invert the stock ones wouldn't that keep it lubed an clean why by those ones?????????????

They have a conical seat that only works one way, unless you do some customization.

Unless you feel safe using a conical drill bit and drilling precise depths into the steering arm of Macpherson struts (going too deep or off-center could ruin the entire strut shell), you'd be better off buying aftermarket replacements.

yea flipping the tie rods is the easy part but being precise with the dril is where the patience comes in

what is the best lubricant for the after markit rods ????????and is there any way to effectively cover them to keep debris out??

Depends on how often you are bothered by bump steer. For track purposes, it's necessary. For daily driving, it isn't. For weekend Auto-X, it's application-based.
