Default Tuning ?'s

I may b getting a 91 EF hatch witha untuned LSvtec. What needs to b done so I can have it tuned? Do I just get a OBDO-OBD1 conversion harness with a chipped P28? Also do I have to get a OBD1 distributor if I get the conversion harness? What other options do I have?

I guess you could probably run a chipped OBD0 B16A ECU. OBD1 would be the way to go for sure so if you can do that then go for it. You can run it on a P28 like you said yourself and will need to do the OBD0 to OBD1 conversion (harness, distributor, 4 wire O2).

for the price of converting to OBD1(dizzy conversion harness,O2, injectors) I could just have the OBD0 ecu chipped and save plenty of money.just curious Y is OBD1 easier to tune compared to OBD0?

Obd1 is easier because there are alot more options and tuners familiar with the software. Ectune/Neptune/Crome/Hondata etc for obd1 and only BRE for obd0. The obd1 software is also more developed so there are alot more features and they are more stable platforms.

I use BRE and don't have any issues but it can be hard to find someone to tune it depending on where you live.
