I have 2 sets of itr rims. one set in gm and one in cw. I had my cw redone and are mint but i want to paint the second set a different color. I don't like the gun metal on cw, any ideas? What about red, and does anybody have a pic in red on an itr?

Went with milano red....my buddy and his employees thought it was the worst choice I could have gone with but I dont care. Rims were primed then base coat. Tomorrow they are going to clear them.

in my opinion i think the red is too much...but a nice sports bronze would probably look sweet on a CW

Agreed. Gunmetal on white actually looks pretty good or bronze as mentioned earlier.

 

I had the gun metal on the car but i just hated it. I know the red will be much, but i was thinking for occasional use. CW will be on the car most the time. and the second set is to just switch it up a bit. or i was thinking about getting a set of these, I saw them in a pic on the S2K and the NSX side by side, i think they will look great on the R as well...Anybody have these on an ITR?
I think they are pricy, only downside.

 

If you are to do red, I suggest a red with a slight orange tone.

I personally would like the milky gray color on Lambo's LP640

 

Do them an OEM honda color for sure. Milano Red.

They are going to be primarily used for the track, I think i will hate them very fast if i used them for daily use lol
