Default Idling So high

Can anyone help me? We just got my sir-g motor into my 94 LS. Its a jdm p72 chipped with a Spoon Sports chip. But when we start up the car, it idles really high. It starts idling at 3400 rpm then rises to 4000 rpms. The guy who dropped my motor in said I need a new throttle position sensor. I also need a new throttle body gasket because it's missing one. I was just going to get a new map sensor, throttle body, and a new throttle position sensor.

Put your hand over the throttle body inlet and block it entirely....in your case it'll still run, but with your hand covering the throttle body you should clearly hear where air is getting in and be able to locate the leak. The throttle body will suck your hand pretty good, but you'll live....I've done it for years.
