hole 1 is drain plug. 2 is to get to a clip is your taking your tranny apart. 3 im not sure?
but your fill hole is above your axle its a 17mm bolt. you can allso fill by removing the vss.

1. drain bolt
3. fill up point,

there will be spills to tell u if the tranny is full.
does anyone agree?

#3 is not the fill point.

the fill point will be a 17mm bolt above the axle (in the general area)

then just stick your hose from your funnel into the hole and add oil till it leaks out in a steady stream and put the nut back on. very simple to do

the fill is above the axle. you need to put bolt 3 back in.

yeah man your way off on the last two, 1 is the drain, your overflow hole has a 17mm head and is blocked by your axle in that picture. It is the only 17mm on the tranny i think? Use the vss hole to fill from all you have to do is take out that 10mm bolt on it pull it out and throw a funnel in there and pour it is like a million times easier then messing with tubes.

I think it is better to use the overflow hole. If you don't it is very easy to put either to little or too much oil in. There are many factors that could affect how much fluid drained. Plus it is not hard at all to get to the overflow hole, that way you know you have the exact right amount.

well its easier to fill through the vss hole. you can still take the overflow plug out to measure how much fluid you are putting in.

there is no dipstick on manual trannies, you just fill it til it runs out the hole where you fill it.

should take a little over 2 quarts for a b series because single cams only take a little under 2

if you have a manual, depending on what you have, but if it's a haynes manual, you need to look under the manual transaxle section to find out which one is the fill hole, but the general information will tell you the capacities

1. drive your car to get the fluid warm
2. remove the drain bolt which you circled and labeled number, 1 collect all the oil, when the drips are 3 seconds apart put the bolt back on
3. remove the vss with the single 10mm bolt holding it if you don't know where it is at google it it is very easy to find, if you look straight down from your tb it will be a little to the right on the transmission
4. Remove the fill bolt this is located behind the axle in your picture it should be the only 17mm bolt on the transmission, it is also clearly visible if you take your air cleaner off.
5. Fill the transmission fluid through the vss hole you should be fine with just a funnel to do this, make sure you put a jar or something under the fill hole when fluid starts to run out stop filling
6. Put your vss back in
7. Screw your fill bolt back in

I am not sure why i just wrote all that since you can find it anywhere but that should answer all your questions
