Need help like now Gas gauge.
Okay so about two days ago i took out my gauge cluster to take some stickers off i had and clean the inside it had a bug in it! whe ni took the plastic off my arm bumped the neddle for the gas gauge i moved it back to where it was suppose to be. now when im driving it says i have gas when i dont. i get a accurate reading most of the time. then it will drop the whole way down or go up to full. did i **** my cluster or should i try replacing the bobber first? perhaps the bobber just went bad at the same time i took cluster out you never know? advice needed ASAP! thanks ahead
well i have had my cluster apart many times and i have a spare sittin around but i have moved the needles and have never had a problem like that before. maybe check your bobber but you dont have to buy a whole cluster you can remove just the gas gauge and go to a junk yard and just swap the gas gauge i know it not very honest but it is an option or you could buy mine off me i need to get rid of some of my spare parts
lol its honest in my book a junk yard around here charges out the *** for parts that u can get brand new for cheaper. only thing is i hope i can find one at a junk yard some where i had a spare cluster but it was cracked so i threw it away like a idiot do u know around how much a bobber is???
