steering wheel noise

steering wheel noise

my o6 si makes a squeeky noise when i turn the steering wheel. has this happened to ne one else..what its makin that noise its kinda annoying?

i've heard of the steering rack going bad on si's. get it checked out by the dealer if you still have warranty on the car.

Damn i got that same problem and i hear a knocking sound sometimes when im making a turn.

I had the same problem both of you guys are experiencing. I took it back to the dealer and they said the steering rack was not lubbed up correctly and had to replace it. Works fine now. Take it ASAP. =]

Your steering wheel can indicate a lot of different problems.
