Default F22 swap... worth it?

sorry if this is the wrong fourm. to post this.

But is was having a hard time finding the information im looking for. So me and a friend are planing on starting a new project. as a big VW i dont have a lot of knolage on civics but a little.

We are tossing around the idea of what we want to do and with the idea in mind of accords are bigger and there is no replacement for displacement is a f22 swap even worth it. i heave heard it is exactly like a h22 swap. same everything but diffrent motor.

and on a side note the car would be converted from auto to manual. is this going to be way more work then its worth?

i asked this same question lol and everyone said its not worth all the work put into it. might as well throw in the H22 and make alot more power. they said the work was not worth the outcome w/ the F22.

i chatted with a guy who did the same thing, and scrapped the F swap half way through. cost for conversion just outweighs the benefits of the engine. H22 has some issues with size also, depending on what your putting it into. It depends on your budget and what you like though. (My two cents, either rebuild the engine from the inside out or grab a K, if your outside CA.)

i have a f22b1 in a eg and it is worth it imo. the torque is great and iron sleeves ftw and 200 on a f22 is much better than 500+ on a h22. but yes the h22 does have more power out of the box but the f22 does pretty good in the lighter body

ok well one plus side is we have the f22. just no mounts, harness, trans, ect. idk is it exaclty like a h22. so if i just fallow a h22 swap guide it will all run right.
