I blew up my D15B8 non v-tec in my 1995 Honda Civic CX. I bought a D15B non v-tec (japanese import) from a guy for $325 which from what i have found is equivalent to an american D15B7. My car is OBD1 and the motor is from an OBD0 car. I am using my OBD1 distributor intake mani and injectors. all of the OBD1 electricals obd1 exhaust mani and O2 sensor. The car will act like its going to start when you first turn the key but wont actually run. It has spark and fuel. But if i pull a spark plug(any of the 4) it will fire and run with the plug out of the cylinder but once i put the plug in it wont run. What could the problem be? I really need this car and would greatly appreciate the help.

ok. so right after i posted this i went out and messed with it without waiting for a reply. it runs now. but stalls out when you hit the gas so i disconnected the speed sensor to see if that helped and it did but it loses power in gear. also im getting a code 3 and 7 on the cel which would be MAP sensor and the throttle angle sensor
