steering wheel feels loose
i have no power steering steering i replaced the rack and pinon a couple of months ago. when i drive i can turn side to side and the car will barely turn when and when i hit bumps it makes lounds noise like its loose. . is there any way i can make it better? ( i live in a bumpy area ).
inside the car the steering wheel makes sounds like somthing is loose. when i go on the bumps i hold down (put force) the steering wheel and that loose noise goes away. is it m rack thing or do i need another one? or what else can it be?
It's a Honda. Nothing ever goes wrong with them.
j/k nothing's perfect lol. I'd agree with JoelMatt, but if you had it at a shop recently, take it back and see if it's due to a bad part (I doubt they use OEM Honda, probably some cheap junk from China) .

I recently finished changing the inner tie rods on my wife's 97 ex. I was having a clunk noise in the front end going over any bumps. I was thinking shocks or bushings.
Jack the car up and grab the wheel at 12 and 6 and at 3 and 9. wiggle and see if there is any play. If there is play look under the car and see if you can pin point the play. Mine was in the ball socket in the inner tie rod.
Good Luck
