Luis Corujo 2rz powered Celica also had a match race tonight with Kapicu Racing a 13B single turbo powered 1972 Datsun 1200 built by Lokito Killer and tuned by Oso Tech. Best ET of 7.28 @ 186 MPH

So sad there is only a few people in the stands with such a good match.I think is because in PR the 1/8 mile don't really get most people to go out to the track if this match would have being in Salinas it would have being a way better race and is a better track by a long mile than Ponce.This is a waste of time this match's in the 1/8 there are no fun the 1/4 mile is way better and you could see the cars run low 7 sec and is more exiting.

It was a very long weekend for us there @ Ponce, but it was fun!

We'll be posting the videos tomorrow from behind the scenes & the pits.

Puerto Rico always have the best racing, we are going to be ready to battle next weekend on the Import Revolution Part 2 @ Ponce!!!

A long weekend indeed. We've been out of practice racing for a long time. Keep in mind the car has been over here since November or so. It was a fun weekend and cant wait to get back friday. Even the Ponce is an 1/8th mile track. It's wider and was nicely prepped. And there was good bit of people there. Most people were hanging out in the staging lanes.

 

Dam only if brent would have saved that 4.51 @154 that he ran days before.

 

There was a ton of ppl there. Those bleachers are huge and really high ,there where alot of ppl in the bleacher just cant tell cause of the vids. Alot of ppl where in staging lanes also. Ricans love 1/8 mile. Just last sat night there was a 1/8 mile event in Arecibo for just nitrous cars and the track set a attendence and car count record with well over 200+ cars running in one night.

 

His motor was hurt then also!!! Crazy huh!!!

I'll be back there again friday...wish us luck.

 

I'll be in P.R. for the races in May ! Can't wait!!!

 

Is Dee still racing? Thought his car was down there for that race.
