went to the track agen..
so, yesturday, went to the track, it was the day before an event, so I got in 14 runs...my best time was a 14.8, by this time, the car was pretty hot, I had run it about 8 times in a row.. I had a ghetto intake/ghetto shortshifter/catback, weight reduction, I took out front passangers seat, and spare tire, weighed it at the scale there, with me in it, weighed 2950lbs...anyways, on to the timeslips and pics...my friend with a wrx also went, he ran a 13.90

so that means your car weighs 2803lbs without you. damn dude, that's pretty good. lemme know exactly what you took out. that sounds like a good diet.
on my old lude i had a c/f hood, gutted trunk, no rear seats, lighter wheels, and it was still nowhere near that number.

Andrew
i dont believe all the hoopla that the 5th gen was that much heavier.
Nice runs...see High mileage 4th gens still kick out...I only have 100,000 miles!
p.s. so jealous of the WRX 60ft times...

Wow, look at the trap speeds. Yours was actually higher, yet your friend ran a whole second lower...So would a prelude beat a wrx on the freeway??

I'm sure many Preludes could pull on a STOCK WRX on the freeway, but not a 13.9 second one
depends on the mods with the wrx. i have pulled on my friends wrx with an exhaust. this was with my relatively stock h22a4 in my old accord. 90mph-up i pulled.
great times for the lude though with minimal mods.
i wouldn't take those weighing stations seriously at tracks. i once weighed my h22a accord at englishtown here in new jersey.
it weighed 2850 with me in it and i weigh 200lbs. something was definitely off.
