11.8@121mph bone stock ls t3/t4 20psi
First time the track opened up this year, so I took advantage of it. It's also my first time driving a turbo car at the track. I need some work on my starts.
99 jdm bone stock ls
t3/t4 57trim .5x a/r
hondata s300
38mm tial wastegate
inline pro s.s. t3 ps compatable
3" downpipe with full 3" exhaust no muffler
small intercooler w/ small hot and cold pipes
24.5"x8x15 m/t slicks
Full drag car w/ 6pt cage, 18k 12k pic drag shocks, full-race traction bars
UPDATE 11.6@121
Any suggestions on how to improve my short time?
This run was at 20psi
r/t .105
60' 1.756
330' 5.105
1/8 7.736
mph 93.88
1000' didn't register
1/4 11.822
mph 121.40

lol that blazer is some guys that have some sick mustangs. If I am remembering they have a 1250whp one with a procharger on it, but yup its quick for sure
Good run! Your 60' is looking pretty damn good so just keep trying for a better time. How are you launching? 2 step or just free revving? I can't wait for the tracks to open up near me I need some seat time.
BTW, what transmission/diff are you using? Also what type of dyno did you put 355 on?

good run man.
I believe Chuong's dyno is a DynoJet
and the TBSS doesn't belong to a guy with mustangs, the owner is a guy named Justin, who has owned quite a few F-bodies.

I could possibly suggest a shorter slick. I ran my best a few weeks back. 11.74@116 with a 1.59 60ft on 22" slicks. that was also on an open diff, cable LS tranny leaving on the anti-lag at 6200. I tried 24.5" slicks two weeks before that and could only manage a 12.3@111 with a 1.92 60ft. I am building a hydro B16 tranny with an MFactory LSD so I will probably go to a little taller slick in the future b/c of the shorter gearing, but for now, 22" is the ticket for me. but that's just what works for me. it may not turn out the same for you, but it's worth a try...
ok let me lay it out like this for you since ou commented on the mustang deal
Jason was dynoing his 1g at got tint, and they were down there in that ss, and they also had a blue stang there with a procharger on it thats pretty sick. Now that we have cleared that up lets get back to the OP's thread great run, and see you guys at the track soon.

nice times! ls ftw fersure yur 60's are really good. with that good suspension you mentioned you could probably pull 1.6's with practice
Like I told him. about a 7.1 @ 106 in the 1/8 should get him 10s.
So time to drop ~ 6 ticks off the first 1/2 track. I set the goal for him, but I figured if we can go 10s on a 100% stock LS engine, that it'd be neat. Engine has the stock intake manifold and throttle body on it still. I have a feeling we MAY have to ditch it for a victor X and make a little more power.

What are your plans to get this thing into the 10s on the stock motor Chuong/OP?

I have a gsr trans w/ a stock lsd all stock. Comp. clutch
Sunoco 110
Yep Chuong got into the 9's three times that day. Running faster every time
We plan to: dial it in. I know with 400 whp, I can go 10s with that setup. He put in a super small spring in the WG to keep the boost pressures down, and we didn't get to go to the track with him to help him set everything up. So I'm assuming lack of seat time in a turbo car + not running the higher boost levels it was tuned for, I think we can do it. He really doesn't want to buy a victor X for an LS head, then have to buy another victor X for whichever Vtec head he will switch to after this setup lets go.
My straight LS-T in my EG 4 door ran 10.8@ 130 years ago with 406 whp. Now we have much better boost controllers that helps with traction.
To whomever that asked. The engine is a true 100% UNTOUCHED LS. stock LS intake manifold, stock LS throttle body, stock headstuds, pistons/rods, stock cams, stock everything. Never been opened.
And yes, the car was the 9 second green hatch @ noble OK last year @ the IFO event. That was me driving and we have a couple videos up on youtube.
As far as gas, it was tuned on 110.
takata, For power, the dyno graph is posted above.
I'm glad for the new owner of this hatch. He's just happy to have an 11 second car. He wanted to go faster with his NA DC chassis GSR, but I think I talked him into it being a lost cause unless he wanted to dump a TON of $ into it.
