Default 11.8:1 with toda cams

11.8:1 pistons on a 2.0L capable of supporting toda c's?
NOTE: highest octane we get is 91 so I can't over do my pistons.

B19Coupe made allot of power using Toda C's, I personally think they are an over-looked camshaft.

We have Toda C in one of our track LS/Vtec engines with around the same comp as you they work great very good mid to upper RPM power.

222 Dynojet WHP on a 1.8. 11.5:1 compression, Hytech header blah blah blah:

Toda C's are still one of my favorite cams.

Impressive. I don't want to start another thread about pistons, so I'm going to ask here instead. Anyone familiar with supertech pistons? http://jhpusa.com/store/pc/viewPrd.a...idproduct=3010

rumor had it that mahle was making them. however, you can buy the actual 4032 mahle pistons with rings from maw products on ebay for $380 in the "12:1" height which i say tongue in cheek since i have no clue what part combo made that number. do read the k20 thread before you set these up. in that thread and in my own experience .0035 PWC is too loose for that piston since it's coating keeps it cooler. the slap never completely goes away. mahle asks for .0025 to .0030 and i would highly suggest that the number falls between that range.

Almost every after market piston can be used with stock rods. The rods just need to be modified by the machine shop for the ARP rod bolts.

And RS machines ITR spec pistons are 11.1:1?
