Alright honda boys/girls. My car(96 civic hb) shakes pretty hard when I'm going from 50-70mph. The whole front of the car shakes/vibrates from left to right only if i'm going 50-70mph and only if i'm giving it gas(lightly and full throttle). The shake is not fast, but rather slow, like the feeling of being drunk, and cant walk straight. I'm stuck and want to know if anyone has experience this before or if anyone can help me figure out the problem. I did search and came out negative. This is what I had tried doing so far. New tire/ rims(negative). New upper ball joint, lower, and tie rod.(negative). Engine mounts are oem new since last year. I pretty much tried everything that I thought would work but it still shakes. Help me please.

 

Alignment? Axles?

 

alignment was also done. The axles I have not change, but were new when i did the engine swap last year. So you think it may be my axles? Thanks for the reply.

 

check if your tires are seperated or beginning to seperate
if its not the alignment usually itll be a bad tire\s

take it to pepboys or something theyll check it out for free
and tell you exactly what it is! I know. I work there haha

 

Thanks for the effort in helping me. I just bought new tire and rims. I dont think that my tire are seperated, but I will take the advice and get a free check.

 

bump...still need help.

 

tires could have lumpy spots. happens sometimes if they sit off the wheel too long. or did you have the problem previous to the new tires
