Jdm b16a sir2 into 91 integra rs
Whaddup Honda-Techs!
This is my first swap so go easy on me...
I scored a jdm SirII motor (ys1 cable) from a 93 Xsi for cheap and I am going to be droppin it into my 1991 RS.
I've got the intake & exhaust worked out but it needs a head gasket, maybe some milling?
What inexpensive mods could I do to bump up compression/ increase power
without breakin the bank?
Any suggestions would be appreciated, Thanks!

you just named it with milling. however. doing so makes the motor harder to setup since it retards cam timing. change the HG and mill .010 or .015, you will get a small compression bump but it keeps you from having to degree the cams like .030 or .040 will and also buy adj cam gears.
If I mill off .015 that'll bump cr to roughly 10.8/9 correct. What hg should I use?
Also - probly another thread, Is a 9 pound flywheel worth the upgrade on this set-up and do you think gettin a hondata re-flash is a gonna be worth it?
