1998 Civic leaking coolant out of fill port!?
My Civic started leaking coolant a few days ago, but it appears to be coming from the fill port of the reservoir, next to the radiator.
Added coolant (to the high mark) seems to quickly leak / evaporate out of the top, until the level of the tank resides just below the low mark.
Has anyone seen anything like this before? Should I just replace the radiator or what?
Thanks,
Dave

if you can physically see it leaking from the reservoir then just replace the reservoir. if you're saying you dont know where its leaking from, its possible the water pump is leaking and its just dripping onto your drive belt or belts. this happened to me, i always had to add just a little bit of coolant and was always wondering where it was going until the crack in my water pump got so bad it just started flowing out
It appears to be going straight out the top of the reservoir though, there are no cracks or holes in it. It is almost as though there is pressure in the reservoir (which I think is not supposed to happen)
I'll go out and rev it up in a bit, to double-check my suspicions.
Thanks for the tip about the pump, I'll find it and look if the housing is leaking.
