Default Throttle body question

Hey, i have a 95 honda civic with a ls/vtec swap b18b1/b16a1 and semi new to some of the tuning things, i bought a Blox 66mm throttle body i didnt think it would be too big but it was so i cranked it up and started pouring gas out the exhaust burning as rich as possible, what mods can i do to make this throttle body work, i also have an AEM fuel pressure regulator could i mess with that and make it work, if so cool, but if there is any other reccomended ideas would all be very helpful, thanks

Just switching to a bigger tb shouldnt affect the tune that much if any it would lean it out not make it rich... has it ever been tuned or is it a egay chip?.....check and make sure you dont have the tps and map sensor plugs switched or vaccum leak.

If gas is pouring out your exhaust I think you may have an ignition/timing problem.

Are you 100% that it was gas and not just water?

Is your CEL on?

How is the car running? rough or bogging idle? Any back fires. Because I would think if raw gas was pouring out of your exahust you would probably see some flames as well.....

What mods do you have to support a larger throttle body?

Are you using a tunable EMS ether a chipped ECU, or stand alone (AEM or Motec)?

Do you have a wideband O2 sensor to monitor your air to fuel ratio?

A tunable ECU and wideband O2 would be my suggestion. If you have the supporting engine mods. An adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator won't do anything for you unless you have injectors and an engine to suport more fuel and a way to monitor what it is doing.....

My final suggestion would be to dyno tune it if you do indeed have sufficient mods to require larger throttle body and injectors and no way to tune yourself.
