oh ok cool well i just would hate to be driving down the freaking highway and it blow up and like dominate my winsheild and stuff....but cool thanks i thought about doing that and just saying to heck with it, i am just kind of paranoid about it i guess...
If you want to be on the safe side, try looking in to these pins. Their called Aero Flush mount hood pins. Looks much cleaner than your typical silver hood pins.

you know i saw those whenever i was looking i was wondering how well they worked because i like how it isnt really flashy and stuff
One of my friends had it on his EG and it worked pretty well, also looks really clean and not flashy.
In this picture you can kind of get an idea how it works, since the latch is open and you can see how the pin retracts back and forth to lock itself.

Its not that hard but not simple either. You just have to know what your doing, since there will be cutting of the hood to mount the latch. You would want to take your time cutting the actual latch part, after you figure out where you want to mount the pin.
-You mount the pin on the top of the radiator support(you will have to adjust the height later after mounting the latch on the hood).
-Mark the hood where the pin touches it and dril a small hole.
-Then you would want to line up the latch part where the pin will going with the hole you made to mark the spot.
-Then you hold the latch in place on the hood and trace the bottom where you're going to be cutting up so you can sit it in place.
This is just an a brief description, if you think you can handle the task I say go for it. Just take your time when it comes to the cutting part. A dremel always comes in handy.
If not, just find a reputable shop to install it.
