What is the 18-pin connector called that is between the cd player harness and the factory harness?

When circuit city was in business, i got a harness that goes from the honda harness to a 18 pin white-clear connector box, then a connector that goes into that that goes to the apline connector. Im looking for that connection to an alpine harness

I can solder the alpine harness to that 18-pin connector, i just dont know what its called.

It's called a harness adapter, although if you get the Smart Harness you will not need the connect the Alpine harness to the adapter harness, the Smart Harness will have an Alpine plug at one end and whatever your driving on the other end.94
