Ok. I searched and searched. But I discovered search is horribly broken for some reason. I tried googling too. x]

How in bloody hell do you get the rear view mirror off in an EG civic? I've tried screw drivers and whacking it, pulling, everything. Anyone know the proper removal?

 

I believe the proper way is to position your foot at a 90* to the bottom of the bracket, and swiftly bring your foot upwards while covering your face with your arms and cowering like a school child who's about to be beaten.
