Default Viper 5501 help.

I was getting tired of the range on my valet keyless so I went ahead and bought a viper 5501 and haven't had a chance to look at the installation manual.
Has anyone had experience with it or any of the similar models?
My car is a '94 accord lx 4dr.
Just want to know if you guys can give me a head start on figuring out what to do.
I'm about to go to work and I'll be looking at the manual during work and will get to figuring out the install after work.
Just to let you know how tho that Im already conffused.
Why so many input and outputs for the remote start? Lol
Where does everything go.
Even the door locks make no sense. It says unlock ouput then lock on the same wire.
Thanks for any of the early help.

I guess people are out on a Friday night. Lol. I'm stuck at work for another 2 hours.
Anyways. I've gone through the manual and seem to know what I'm doing.
But I need to know if my car needs to ignitions wire connections? Or two starter wire? Or any remote start auxilary connections?
If not then it is pretty easy.
How do I connect that new tach wire tho?
Where or how do I get to the ground for the park and neutral gear?
Uhm... I'll let you know what else.

The output is only 200ma with is not enough to power/ground a light buld.
to make the output stronger u have to use a relay.

sorry about my spelling. Just tired.......

The Viper 5501 does not have a built-in starter cut relay sot there is no green lead, the violet starter output lead is connected directly to the cars black/white starter lead, [no cutting].

Yes you need a relay for the dome lights, this may help... http://www.the12volt.com/relays/relays.asp

Here is a tag in sheet for your car... http://64.85.6.121/diagrams/printpag...12648&MakeID=3 94

Feel free to PM me if you have questions, will be in all day Sunday.

Heavy Gauge Remote Start Harness:
1 - Pink:............(+) black/yellow in ignition harness
2 - Red/White:....Remove
3 - Orange:........(+) yellow in ignition harness (manual says this is to the wire that controls climate control.. is that fine there?)
4 - Violet: .........(+) black/white
5 - Red:.............(+) white in ignition harness
6 - Pink/White:....Remove
7 - Pink/Black:.....Remove
8 - Red/Black:.....(+) white in ignition harness

...so is this setup accurate?..
is everything else accurate?
still missing like 2wires somewhere i think it is.. (starting to look it up now)

I take that back. there is no green wire in the heavy gauge.
I was think of viper 5901 . 5501 is a keyless/remote start so you're right there is no green.

so then the pink heavy gauge goes to black with white strip in igntion harness.
