Default 98 GSR swap in 91 DA

Hello all, in a week or so, a few of my friends are going to swap my engine for me. I have a 98 GSR full drive train (from a totalled gsr sitting in my driveway) and the engine has absolutely no damage (the body is just messed up). The swap will be into a 91 GS which currently has an ls-vtec setup with what I was told is a gsr tranny. It is obd1. It currently has a cable clutch and my friend is going to sell me a good clutch plate for $50. He recommened while the engine is out I purchase a flywheel, pressure plate, short throw shifter and a few other things. I'm pretty much a noob, but my friends are very experienced with engine swaps, modifications etc...

I know that I have the p72 ecu and everything and I'm just a little confused as to what I should order part wise. Any recomendations that fit a small budget? And if I didn't provide enough information I'll try to post what I know.

I also wanna add that the person doing the swap will be doing all the wiring and the obd conversion.

not bad at all since your already got an ls/vtec and your running a p72-xxx the last three digits will tell you what year it was for if it is for an ecu from an obd2 then your set up is already ob2 and there shouldnt be any wiring needed because its like your swaping a gsr motor for a gsr motor it should be an easy swap i would tell you to buy some polyurethan motor mounts polyurethan shift linkage bushing and as far a short throws the best i have found and use is pacesetter it is adjustable from 20%-70% reduction and i love it i would say get a fidanza flywheel with an act or spec clutch and if your tranny says ys1 then its a cable clutch version of the gsr tranny. have any questions pm me
