Default 2008 Civic JDM Fog lights wiring - HELP

Has anyone installed one of those JDm fog lights you can get from ebay?
I just got mine but has difficulty understanding the wiring. Of course the wiring kit is different from that of the OEM.
I appreciate any help and guide on this....much more if you have pics.
Thanks

but you do get what you pay for.
In fact, it isn't JDM fogs but rather a cheap immitation of an OEM USDM setup.
JDM fogs look totally different.
And the wire you're missing should be a white that goes into the "36 pin connector".

sellers call them jdm to justify the price and make sells go fast and because there will always be uneducated people who will fall for it

install is pretty easy. go on 8thcivic, there are a few threads that show you how to wire replica fogs.

no just cuz it is made in japan doesn't mean they are jdm. well JDM does mean japanese domestic market but i think the main point is whether they are OEM JDM. since japan doesn't have the US Si model and the US never made OEM yellow fogs then anything other than the clear fogs would not be considered OEM JDM

Japanese cars are different than USDM cars.
Might have similarities but the front end is totally different. So the made in japan sticker is just that, a sticker. I can even make those and slap it onto an HID kit and sell it for 300 because they are "made in japan".
People have to understand that our cars are not the same as Japanese cars. And ebay crap is not JDM

The wire missing from my kit was actually a purple wire, which just turns the indicator on the dash on, and turns the lights off when you go to high beam. Be careful which directions you follow on 8th Civic. I was using one guys who made his life a hell of a lot harder with the way he installed his, and all he would have had to do was flip the harness in the correct direction. Follow the Honda instructions, its pretty smooth going once you get it all laid out. Also, dont remove the bolt from the washer fluid resevoir, its just a pain in the *** to put back in, and it doesnt help you. Also, you wont be installing a new turn signal stalk, so dont worry about those instructions.
