Kinetic is our house brand, they are only OEM replacement available in drilled and slotted only. I will see about getting some pricing on blanks.

just find it interesting about civic rear rotors considering they have drums..unless its for Si and then, what bolt pattern are the civic rear rotors? I might be swapping GSR brakes into the back and need some rotors

The service was good at the start but it seems after they get your money they don't seem to care. Don't expect to ever get your tracking number, i've asked 4 times now with three confirmed "i'll send your tracking info" and still nothing. I hope the product isn't like the service. Prove me wrong jim.

I apologize for any lack of communication, But your parts were ordered on the 26th and shipped on the 27th via fedex ground, i am PMing you the tracking now as i will not put that kind of information for the world to see as it includes shipping info. The parts do show a schedualed deivery date of today.

I've had those pads less than 120 miles. Broke them in properly per powerstop website. It's powerstop pads with kinetic rotors.

This is basically what's going on... i had ordered kinetic rotors/powerstop pad combo from you. the car drives straight and doesn't vibrate but then when i push on the brakes the car vibrates and shimmys and pulls right. At first the mechanic thought it was the pads so removed the front pads and replaced them with my old pads that still had 90% and the same thing happened. So we replaced the rear pads and the same thing happened. The rotors have discoloration and vibration marks from the pads i think that's what he called it and "S" curve marks or something. The pads have pieces missing from them or "gouge marks" don't think that's the technical term but that's what he called it. So far it seems that they are working with me on getting this resolved it could've just been a bad batch so i'll keep you guys updated on if i recommend them or not.

This is not a rotor issue, as i told you on the phone I think It seams like the pads failed, from the looks of them you can see where they look like parts crumbled away, my guess is they were dropped in shipping and formed a few small cracks that fell apart during use, The pad resin left on the rotor surface is due to the pad dragging, this also explains why the car pulls when you hit the brakes, one side is contacting the rotor first causing the pull. I still believer as I originally told you that the dragging pad has nothing to do with the cracking issue and is either a caliper problem or an install error on the mechanic's part. I also still stand by what i said about sending you replacements, as I told you i was willing to do. We have sold thousands of sets of these rotors and pads with no problems or failures. I will ship another set out tomorrow, when the warehouse opens back up. Please make 100% sure the break in is followed and please have the caliper inspected on the corner that was pulling as i am almost sure there is a problem there. I will be in touch with you tomorrow on this.

it's not the caliper, I had my original brakes that didn't do this and functioned properly. nor is it the installer as he's uninstalled and reinstalled them about 6 times. He's ASE Certified, OWNS his own shop and has been doing jobs on his own for about 30 years not counting what his family has been doing in the automotive industry. He's restored cars and has race cars that he works on. Not to mention he has not only seen the vehicle and the brakes but has driven it as well. Installing pads and rotors is pretty simple. He has told/showed me that there are vibration marks in the rotors from the pads that have caused surface marks on them. I have my old pads that have about 80% left in there and it's causing the same Vibration with the rotors i bought from you. He's gotten a chance to TOUCH and see the pads/rotors and DRIVE the vehicle. It's the pads and rotors that I BOUGHT from you. The mechanic and i both agree on that as well as other car enthusiasts. He even showed me how the color on the hub and rotor have discolored from using cheap materials. I'll take it to another shop and pay them to inspect it tomorrow.

Well i am willing to replace them as i said, however the 'discoloration' is likely due to the zinc plating coming off on the contact surface vs the plating that remains on the hub and edge of the rotor. If you would like replacements I can send them to you, I assure you we have not had an issue like this before with the kinetic product line.

Hi Jim, i took it to another shop today they said that it looks fine but if it's doing the same thing with my old pads as it did with pads i got from you it has to be the rotors as well. They agree with the previous person and said that i should get all new rotors and pads as everything was installed correctly. Is there a way i can upgrade to the powerstop rotors and powerstop pads, i believe the difference was like $50
