Default T'n'T @ ZMAX

Finally got to make 1/4 mile pass. The track was pretty slick but my first pass was 11.07 @ 127mph with a 1.76 60'. I've been getting mid 1.6's. My second run I turned the boost up a little trying for 10's. Got a 1.65 60' and missed 3rd. On my third pass I turned the boost down a little so I wouldn't hit boost cut and ran a 11.006 and the mph was messed up. I said I ran 537mph so I'm not sure what it was. Next time out hopefully I'll see a 10 sec pass.

We (IFO) can look into hosting an event there. Is there a big enough Import scene in the area to support an event? How many shops are in the area?

Nice!! It's the curse of racing to have to hit that 11.000000000 or 12.0000 or even 10.000 before you get that next digit! lol

If you see Brad tell him I want my head if you would! lol Thanks

RLZ is within minutes from the track.

If you guys host an event there it would have a huge turnout from us east coast guys!!!

Sorry for off topic, but regarding an IFO or any event in these new tracks. I always beleived that LOCAL shop participation is the key to successful events. The event organizers should create a partnership with local shops and racers. Mutual interest in a successful event gets everyone to push to make it a good turnout. In these times, shops and sanctioning bodies have to work together to keep the sport and industry going.

The event organizers can't do it alone.

there is plenty of ppl in the scene or whatever you wanna call it. I think that having an event there is a very good idea and there would be a very good turn out. Also at the first test and tune there were 250 cars and imports 80-120 imports (don't quote me) but is was a good mixuture. I will not mind putting some time in planning this if i have some backing and help. But its just an idea

True that....

NC doesn't have a huge scene but, the location is right in between everyone! Few hours for the boys up north and everyone down south! Perfect place to host a East Coast event! Wish I'd made it out there last night, other things going on didn't permit me to ride 2 hours to TnT.

If my car was running at the time of an event, I would go for sure. It's an awesome area and facility.

well, if there's enough interested, we'll make it happen! IFO doesn't waste any time when it comes to booking events. ;-)

Are there any import/race forums for the Charlotte area? Please post ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe we should have a separate thread for this?

btw, exospeed is 100% right!

Lets do it! Importsnc.com- bunch of show cars, but good exposure!
Carolinahondas.com- bunch of high school kids but, the big boys still shop for parts here!

I have been to the track in Charlotte and its NICE!!! I would def attend and I think alot of people in MD would as well. Just like others have stated, RLZ Engineering is minutes from the track and if Im not mistaken Howard is good friends with Tony1. I think it would be a good turnout, if an event was planned and put together properly for that track.

Sorry for getting off topic Tommy T, good runs dude!!!

zmax is in the middle of concord and just a mile from I-85. if an event was able to get organized it would be one worth while. i think charlotte has a decent import scene and people always drove to rockingham jus a few years ago.

b.r.e is jus a few minutes away 2
