How to remove trim pieces

i have a 99 Si

what is the easiest way to remove the trim pieces on the bottom outside part of the door windows?

part # 1 & 3

roll down window,unbolt the mirror, unscrew the black garnish piece. carefully pry up on the tabs from the backside. or just pull up on it. most likely going to break a few tabs, it happens.

if you can afford new trim pieces, just rip the old ones off. Most likely the old ones will never fit back on correctly. I know mine didn't.

most people i know usually raplaces them with new ones cuz they are a b**ch to pull out neatly.

i broke all tabs but saved one , damn thing is a bitch to remove
