hey HT

i recently bought a 00 gsr, and the gas gauge and engine temp gauge dont work! i dont know what is is. wiring ? sensor ? i really dont know.

Also when im driving and i put on the signals, the ticker on the odo and the spedo go up and down , but doesnt effect my driving or the engine.

does anyone know whats wrong with my car ?

PS: my raido also doesnt work, i might juss buy a new head unit and hopefully that fixes it.

 

you can try replacing your cluster and see if that fixes it. my old cluster showed my car going 35mph faster than it was. then i got a replacement one but the gas gauge didnt work. the yard let me trade it in for a different one and the next one works great

I would check cluster grounding, when unrelated circuits, [signal lights] effect other circuits, [trip/speedo] it is almost always a grounding issue. 94

I just bought a GSR the same year, and have the exact same problem, did you manage to get yours fixed? ALso, for the plugs that hook into the cluster, does your gsr have 3 plugs only? 2 blue (16 pin and 13), and 1 smal yellow?
