Default S2G Antenna and Rust?

Just wondering if the antenna area is more prone to rusting now that I've installed an S2G antenna. Any input apreciated

Dont think so. I have had mine in for a year now, and no problems at all.

Dont think so. I have had mine in for a year now, and no problems at all.
where did you get the number10 Couplings
I bought the antenna last year
and it still sittin in my room

can't find the shop sellin #10 Couplings

if paranoid, spray with clearcoat.

I used some nylon coupling. I filled it up with epoxy and the screwed the antenna in, and the threaded rod in on the other side. Works fine, and antenna has yet to come out.
