We want to have this years meet earlier in the season but I'm clueless as to when? Remember I'm from California and this will be my first Mid-West Spring... I dont know when most of you will have your cars out of storage and/ or projects finished?

I need to start planing now if it's to be bigger and better than last year.

Usually late may/early june is when most people are ready to roll. And mother nature should hopefully agree by then.

 

yea...spring brings alot of rain and we cant plan in advance around the weather....the weather at your first meet was great, wasnt it? anyway, i would agree w/ mikeyspec and stick to may/june.....but whenever it is, i'll be there...it was a good time and great prizes

I say june 20thishhhh lol will be the perfect time for the meet.

 

Ill be there forsure just not at the beginning of june....Id say mid to late june or end of may or near the fourth of july.

 

Personally i think there is a lot of stuff going on june/july meets, shows, races. Also i would suggest getting something easier to eat this year.

 

End of May or early June is always nice out. Plus my car will be tuned by King before then!!!

June-July is my vote as well although May would for me too. Students will be out of school and the weather should be great. Last year was awesome but I don't want to have to wait until September for the BBQ again.

June is actually a REALLY bad month for me....just about every weekend is booked already (including the 20th, which is my birthday:0)). I would love to see it in either May or August....September wasn't bad either just b/c lots of other things were dying down by then and it was fun to have something big to still attend near the end of the summer.

So this is what I have...

Spring honda-tech meet in Madison, April 25th.
Automotion Car Show, May 25-26th.
ITR Expo, May18-19th.
Suja 1 Meet, June 21st.
Import Alliance, July 25-26th

If there is anything else that is well followed that people plan on attending, let me know.

I'll mention it now so everyone knows... We will not make everyone happy with the date that we set (I can see it already). We can not plan around everything or it will never happen.

Right now it's looking like June 27th or July 11th

 

July 11th Is HIN in chicago. I think june 27th is pretty good. There are no big track or autox events that weekend
