Macco uses Stage 1 or 2 paints
I had a car painted a few years back, and Macco gave me about a pint of the paint for touch ups. Forgot I had it until I was clearing out the stuff in my garage. I want to use it again, but I dont know what type of paint it is. Aside from calling them and asking them what type of paint they used.
Since they are a pretty big company, I assume they all use the same types of paints. Im not sure if I just need some reducer, spray it and clear it, or if it needs hardners as well.
How can one tell.

is their any we dribbles off the paint down the side off the tin? if so look and see if it has a gloss to it or a matt finish. if its matt then it should be just reducer ul need to add too it then clear to get the gloss. if its glossy itl need activator/hardner in it
the consistency will tell you whether or not its reduced or not. maacos are franchised so they dont all use the same paint, some use shitty stuff, others use decent stuff.. either way maaco totally sucks in my personal opinion. the smell can usually give off if its a single stage paint, if youve been doing it long enough. baz has a good answer too, if theres shiny dribbles on the can, its most likely single stage.
