d16z6 cam removal/installation difficulty?
how hard is it to remove/install a cam from a d16z6 engine? or basically any SOHC engine for that matter? about how long would the thing take?

it's relatively painless. There are more parts than a non-vtec engine, lost-motion, etc. but otherwise it shouldn't take more than an hour or two.
Don't forget to adjust the valve lash.
