Ok guys so looking at low-high 150mphs and sticking with either GSR or 97 Type R trannies. Will be using stock gearing, but looking for which pinion/ring gear that will work well and not lag me out of my power range.

I have two of each trannies and looking to see what final drive set will work. Looks like the Type R will work better, but no one seems to make a 4.4 final drive(hardened steel). In 4th gear at 10,500 rpms with 25 slicks i'm looking at about 160mphs which is right about where I want it. All the mid gearing looks to be right where I want it above lag zone(high shift points). looking to trap in the 150s so this combo would work perfectly.

any other suggestions?
