.....Carbine Alarm System Same Maker As The AutoPage?
Couldn't find any info on whether or not it is the same maker as Autopage but I was told by the tech guy at my local alarm shop that they are made by the same person like Clifford is to Python. Carbine is to Autopage. Anyone know whether or not they are the same company?
The answer NO, but the I could be wrong.
Carbine is owned/made by Magnadyne company.
Autopage is wholly owned subsidiary of Iwata Electric Co.

Yeah that's what I found too but the tech guy recommended this to me. I don't know why he would recommend me a generic name brand alarm I never heard off before instead of like a Clifford, Viper, Python, etc. But I'm still getting a Clifford even though he recommended this.

Hint... Magnadyne... http://www.magnadyne.com/index.cfm?M...&Web_CatID=107 has been making alarms for more then 30 years, one of the few alarm companies that has not been swallowed up by DEI. 94
IMO it is a good thing that they have not been swallowed up by DEI, competition is good, I have installed more then a few Carbine alarms and they just as good as any of the DEI alarms in the same price range.
I also recommend DEI alarms, along with Compustar and Audiovox, also not DEI owned. 94
