Figured I'd give it a shot and see if any Uniontown people are on here. We'll have about 10 cars coming from various areas...maybe more. If your interested be there.

 

Well, I'm hearing from locals that this meet has spread around, but no posters. Any readers should know that I've heard from alot of people that know about this. It may not be a blowout, but definitely some cars. Plus my whole club is rolling in....all clean, no rice.

Fayette County uniontown is about 45 mins south of pittsburgh

should be a decent meet, im from the area and can probably have a couple cars show up

 

Come on now, there has to be some Honda enthusiast in and around the area. Uniontown is a central and easy to get to location. It would be nice to get people from atleast the surrounding areas within a 50 mile radius.

I'm going to post this on turbod16 and see what happens.

This mini meet will be a fun time and laid back since Uniontown is a small booming town with a few decent local cars

 

Got a pretty massive response from alot of people locally. I think there might be a surprise turnout on this one. I figured it might be 20 or 30 cars, but I'm hearing about people from Washington, PA....Morgantown...Belle Vernon...all over.

 

carlysle is may 8th. why doesnt everyone just go there? its only one of the biggest shows on the east coast. may 8-10. up to u

 

yea i have it posted on turbod16.com trying to get people within a 50mile radius. we might have to relocate after so long if a large turnout is expected, Sonic parking lot is not very big at all, i don't think it could even handle 20-30 cars

all i'm sayin is the uniontown sonic isn't very big, but it's still possible to have it there, i'm sure they will like our business, it all depends on how many people are planning to come, the more the better

 

Not everyone goes to carlisle...that was the point. For those who don't go, there's a local meet so you don't feel left out....get it. Plus, many people won't leave til saturday morning....which is why i made it Friday. Kind of like a pre-party.

My car is on E85...unless I have a support vehicle to carry fuel I couldn't make it to Carlisle and back...not enough stations.

 

so what if Sonic parking lot can't handle 20-30 cars. Wal-mart parking lot will hold a couple hundred and its right next to Sonic.

Getting lots of interest locally still. I think this'll be a descent little meet!

that was my point i was trying to get across in an earlier post i made. there are plenty of large empty parking lots around uniontown, though places like the old walmart i don't reccommend since all the douchebags go there and cause lots of trouble.

 

The world is filled with douchebags...there's no escaping that. No parking lot in the world has a douchebag shield.

We just have to act civil and let the "douchebags" get told to leave.

can you post a mapquest link to the Sonic in Uniontown? i cant find any damn Sonic in that area. haha

 

There's a few of us from the south hills.Maybe we can meet up some where in rt.51 like at sheetz and roll 2gether.

 

it's right off of route 40 west heading towards brownsville, i'd say 1/4 mile past sheetz, which way are you coming, i can offer directions since i'm from the area.

sonic has been there for i'd say about a year now, but it's hard to say if it's location was ever loaded into mapquest, i always use yahoo maps, they seem more accurate than mapquest

 

that sounds like a good idea. which sheetz are you talking about though? the one across from Bowser or the one down towards Belle Vernon?

id be coming from north, the Elizabeth area.

 

I was thinkin the one by Bowser but i dont know what anybody think about this but i can meet u there if is fine with u.

 

or you can come rt 51 south to uniontown and make a right as soon as you pass giant eagle which is the new 43 turnpike bipass that will bring you over to rt 40, at the redlight you make a left, come up the hill to the first redlight, make a right into the new shopping plaza, follow the road around to your left and you will see sonic on the left.

it's a piece of cake, if you are used to driving the city of pittsburgh, uniontown will feel like you are out in the sticks somewhere lol.
