they arnt that bad.. id rock a set of them.. there for racing not looks.. if you want to spend like 600 on a set of welds but i dnt know about you guys but thats a ridiculas price for 2 wheels.. to the ppl who are on a budget these will work awsome..
I wouldnt mind a pair of these. Im just a weekend drag racer that cant justify spending $600+ on a pair of fronts. I guess im a cheap *** though. BTW the spun shell are the wight qoute you gave and are $78 a piece
17lbs for a 13" rim. Isnt that heavier than a stock steelie?
Ya if you dont want to shell out for our VPD wheels, check out for sale threads. They come up once in a while for a mounted set with slicks for $400.00 Regardless of what wheel you get, slicks all cost pretty much the same at $280-400 a pair without the wheels.
people been using them for years
IIRC, the last 13"x8" daimond wheel we weighed, it came in at 14 pounds without stem, weights, or tire.

Thats a good deal for 13's, my friend has those on his crx here in Guam. He said theyre really heavy though compared to my old set of lenso's with the same size slicks.
Here's my friends crx with those rims out here in guam. turbo d16a6 on 12-14 psi on s200, ran 13.0 with a a stock d15b7 and an old school JG pro series head head on same psi.

Theyre pretty light. Plenty strong enough, and cheap... I use 15" the version and they fit FINE over R calipers asnd 11 inch rotors...
