I've had these wheels for a few years now and I bought them with a flat lip (instead of polished) but it was just a powder coat it seems because it started flaking recently. Taking a closer look though I noticed it was still a pretty high polish underneath.

They still need a bit of attention but it started to rain so I'll have to finish them up later.

Nice discovery after years of owning lol if it was me it would make me feel like I had a new set of wheels

 

They're like a new set for sure. I think the polished looks better now that I'm looking at it.

 

looks great for now..you'll have to keep on polishing it using rubbing compound
to keep the shine or else it'll become dull...

 

I'm not a huge fan of polishing but if it starts looking shabby I suppose I may.

 

i would strip the entire wheel back to the original metal color.

thanks, I've had it for 7 years so it had better be. I had thought of stripping them entirely but the thought of the whole rim being polished isn't doing it for me. I'll sleep on it for a bit, I was thinking of painting them too but wasn't sure which color.
